About Me

IMG_1181.JPG

Ten years ago, Henry left a 25-year-long career as a professional truck driver to realize a longstanding dream: to become a police officer.  As a man in his forties, he struggled (with the much younger rookies who called him “Dad”) to successfully complete the gruelling training program.

As a proud member of a provincial police service, Henry gained experience serving as a constable in a rural community.  More recently, Henry was selected as a member of an elite traffic accident investigative unit.  Shortly after this transfer, he became ill with Lyme disease, a difficult disease to both diagnose and manage.  Although unable to currently work in his chosen career, Henry’s strong work ethic and determination have been channelled into another passion – his love of reading.

Henry has been an avid lifetime reader, and spent many hours driving truck, listening to books as the miles passed by.  His life experience and specialized knowledge of police culture and procedures makes him an excellent interpreter for the technical content of material which may include references to law enforcement and judicial procedure.

Henry has discovered that even though he is limited in his current vocation, he can both enjoy reading, and share that love as he creates listening opportunities for others.

With help from various experts in the audiobook world, Henry set up a recording studio in his home from which he has narrated and produced almost 30 audiobooks. Genres range from Mysteries and Thrillers to Westerns and more recently Military Fiction. He stands ready to work with you to bring your book to life.
