From the moment he arrives in America, Logan is a target. He’s pursued across the country by a relentless and highly skilled killer, one that leaves a growing trail of bodies in his wake. But Logan is no pushover, he’s a former member of the SAS, the British outfit nicknamed ‘The Frighteners.’ With good reason. Logan is pushed too far, he’s had enough of being the hunted even if that means putting his life in greater danger. It’s time to go back to what he does best. The killing business.

When a CIA agent is captured inside China and sentenced to death by firing squad, Lieutenant Jack Grant’s Ranger fireteam volunteers to carry out a rescue mission. But the odds are stacked against them from the outset and the operation fails. Worse is to come. An unfounded claim of war crimes against Grant spells the end of his career and his freedom. His one chance to clear his name is to launch another mission and bring back the condemned agent. Yet the odds are stacked against them even more, and success against the Chinese hordes means racking up a large body count. When the Rangers arrive inside China, Grant encounters something unimaginable. A vast concentration camp, housing starving, barefoot and emaciated Uighur prisoners. He also encounters an enemy who is waiting for them, gloating with anticipation. If that isn’t enough to condemn the mission to failure, an ally waits in the shadows to stab the Rangers in the back.

A nerve agent which will deliver a slow and lingering death. The toxin is made in a laboratory hidden deep inside the icy wastes of Siberia. Action is needed to destroy it, yet bureaucratic delays mean the Pentagon and CIA response is taking too long. For Grant, the only honorable course is to take action before it is too late. From the moment the Rangers set foot in Russia, they are up against a cruel enemy who always has one finger on the trigger. It is the most dangerous mission of their lives. To destroy the laboratory and get out alive. Infiltrating the Siberian facility will be almost impossible, yet even if they do succeed, the battle will not be over. Getting out will take a miracle.

Grants Counterattack.jpg

Newly-minted Army Ranger Lieutenant Jack Grant joins a mission to take down the Taliban’s elite sniper, but things go wrong from the start. The enemy leads them into an ambush which leaves the Company at risk of total annihilation. Grant counterattacks with his small Ranger unit, and turns defeat into victory.Yet the victory is short lived, for he finds himself under close arrest following a trumped-up charge. His career is over, and he faces a long term of imprisonment. There is nothing he can do to put things right from a prison cell. But there is much he can do if he escapes. Like hunting down and killing the lethal sniper Haji Gul. A man still at large who threatens the lives of American troops. He is thought to be a personal friend of Mullah Omar. And an ally of America’s number one target, Osama bin Laden. Good enough reasons to take him down. There can only be a single outcome. Either Gul will die. Or Grant.

Army Ranger Jack Grant and his unit mount an operation to rob a train inside Pakistan. They find senior Taliban commanders carrying cases stuffed with documents and money. They also contain a clue to a catastrophic new development. A new ally in their perpetual search for bigger, more powerful weapons. An ally prepared to supply them with nuclear devices, weapons with the power to devastate entire American cities. North Korea. The Rangers have a clandestine mission, to infiltrate the nuclear facility in Sanwon, a few klicks above the 38th Parallel. Destroy the nukes, and get out again. Aided by a beautiful South Korean nuclear scientist, Captain Ri Sung-mi, they will travel to the target by North Korean submarine, courtesy of a group of defectors. A leaking, obsolete Romeo class diesel electric boat unfit to sail on anything more than the local boating lake. Pursued every step of the way, they manage to enter the facility. Shot at, shelled and exposed to massive doses of radiation, they must battle overwhelming odds to carry out their mission. The Rangers know they are on a one way journey, and time is running out fast on what is left of their lives. These men are Army Rangers, and when their leader, Captain Cash, is disabled, Grant, a natural fighter, keeps them moving forward. They will continue to fight, and never give up.

Army Ranger Sergeant Jack Grant is in deep trouble. A blazing attack on Bagram Airbase, and a brutal boxing bout against a monstrous opponent have left him wounded and badly beaten. But more trouble is on its way. A court-martial looms based on trumped up charges, and with it the threat of a long spell of imprisonment. Battling enemies from both sides, Grant’s troubles escalate when he is falsely accused of attacking an infantry officer.  The base commander, General Weathers, offers Grant a way out. The offer of a battlefield commission, in return for taking insane risks on a vital mission that could transform the war. It sounds too good to be true, and it is. The chances of coming back alive are virtually zero. Yet if he is to stay out of jail, he has no other option. Grant must lead a four-man fireteam deep inside enemy territory, and with every mile they travel, the bodies stack up ever higher.  Up against overwhelming odds, the Rangers battle to achieve their objective. Every step of the journey is a nightmare of bloodthirsty, savage enemies and treacherous, backstabbing allies.

Unfairly convicted of helping a killer in a drug related hit, Jack Grant faces five long years in the pen. Except the judge offers him an alternative, a chance to make a difference. Grant joins the infantry, and on the 11th of September 2001, the planes hit the World Trade Center. Soon after, they ship out for Afghanistan. Grant’s unit is tasked with guarding Bagram Airbase. A safe assignment, where his worst enemy is a vindictive platoon lieutenant. That’s until the Taliban mount a massive attack on the airbase. Grant fights back like a demon, and discovers a natural affinity for the heat of battle. Impressed by his ferocity, an Army Rangers captain seconds him to assist with a special mission. It is the start of a long hard, battle for survival and to defeat many powerful and cunning enemies. Some are robed and bearded, and carry AK-47s. Others wear the uniform of the US military. At stake is his freedom, his life, and the life of those around him.
